Job Purpose

  • To identify and win customers through sustained prospection and sales activities.

Preferred qualifications and experience:
  • HSC + Certificate in Sales & Marketing or in related field
  • 3 years' direct selling experience within the Telecom /IT Sector
  • Or any other acceptable qualifications and experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for a portfolio of corporate customers as Account Manager (Sales).

Senior Officer- Postpaid

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for enhancing the Customer Market Share and Revenue Market Share for postpaid (individual and corporate) line of business for Emtel.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience: 
  • University Degree preferably in Marketing/Management/Statistics.
  • Additional studies in communication will be an advantage.
  • 2 Years of experience in related field in ICT industry, banking or financial sector.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Increase Postpaid Customer Market Share.
  • Revenue Management for Postpaid revenue line.
  • Data mining and analytics to understand, forecast behaviors and develop respective strategies.
  • Closely interact with customer services to evaluate key satisfiers and dis-satisfiers in products, services and processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Visiting corporate clients to build a healthy professional relationship.
  • Involve in developing and sustaining products and services for the postpaid category including stimulation and promotional activities for maintenance of ARPU and revenue across this business line.
  • Involve in all testing with respect to current or Postpaid services.
  • In line with boosting and stimulating usage through different channels including communication campaigns and developing schemes and offers for same.
  • Responsible for the end to end on the roadmap for efficient management for postpaid portfolio and develop value for money packages and user friendly modes to access same.
  • Assist in managing of the communication of new or existing products and services through ATL, BTL and other modes.
  • Build business cases and project management of new products to be launched in the market and proper management of product life cycle.
  • Interaction with cross functional teams for end to end product development, formulate new tariffs, change existing products and services including tariffs, also ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Interaction with external parties like handset vendors, finance companies, telecalling agencies etc. to meet various requirements pertaining to postpaid consumer needs.

Officer- Legal and Regulatory Affairs

Job Purpose

  • To provide legal and regulatory assistance to the company on day to day matters.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience: 
  • LLB (Honours) from a Recognized University.
  • LLM would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years experiences in the legal sector in Mauritius preferably in the ICT Sector, with extensive experience in vetting a wide variety of contracts.
  • Experience in ICT regulatory matters will be a definite advantage.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage and co-ordinate ongoing legal contracts.
  • Assist in day to day legal and regulatory matters when required.
  • Represent the Company in various meetings and forums in the Government and other regulatory circles and facilitate visits / meetings with the government agencies in order to resolve issues or fulfill the requirement of the regulatory authorities where required.
  • Contribute to the formulation of policies on issues concerned with interconnect payments, customer's complaints in order to comply with the regulatory requirements.
  • Obtain approvals from Government and regulatory authority on tariffs and other related services and provide assistance and facilitation to various sections within the company for timely implementation of approved services.
  • Pro-actively gather information and lobby for the interest of the Company, within government circles in order to maintain productive working relationships with the authorities.
  • Analyze the Regulatory framework which includes the Regulations, Policies, Determinations & Consultations Papers issued by Authority (ICTA).
  • Responsible of the routine basis correspondence with the government bodies like the ICTA, Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies and other Cellular & fixed operators on behalf of Emtel.
  • Provide legal assistance in routine operational legal matters such as drafting and reviewing of contracts.
  • Monitor legal costs.
  • Optimize service delivery internally and externally through process efficiencies and cost management: Full adherence to internal processes.
  • Compliance with ICE and ISO requirements.
  • Liaise with internal customers, legal advisers, external parties such as ICTA, Ministry of IT and Telecommunications etc when required. All such dealing should reflect a high level of professionalism.
