Stock Controller

Job Purpose

  • Manage the purchasing and replenishment of the commercial products sold in all Emtel outlets. A key aspect of the role is maintaining the stock levels within the target set by the business. Records purchases, maintains inventory database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to system. Manage the Technical Warehouse for equipment storage both at internal and outsourced warehouses.

Preferred qualifications and experience:
  • Minimum HSC holder
  • Diploma in Stock Keeping or Bachelor's degree in business or related field will be a plus 
  • Ideally three (3) years' experience as stock controller, receiver, or related position
  • Or any other acceptable qualifications and experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit inventory control reports to HOD.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot inventory control problems in a timely fashion.
  • Prioritize and perform daily workload assigned by HOD.
  • Respond to enquiries regarding products and inventories.
  • Manage purchasing orders for incoming commercial stock, equipment, services, and other supplies.
  • Oversee stock returns to vendors and manage consignment stock.
  • Perform inventory control to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Provide direction and assistance to colleagues as needed.
  • Count and record merchandises (both commercial stock and marketing items) received according to store policies.
  • Implement and act in accordance with the organization Information security policies

Preferred skills and aptitudes
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work extended hours, and holidays if required.
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player.
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail.
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work with management and staff at all levels.

Business Development Executive

Job Purpose

  • To identify and win customers through sustained prospection and sales activities.

Preferred qualifications and experience:
  • HSC + Certificate in Sales & Marketing or in related field
  • 3 years' direct selling experience within the Telecom /IT Sector
  • Or any other acceptable qualifications and experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for a portfolio of corporate customers as Account Manager (Sales).
  • Find new customers.
  • Develop strategies and plans to identify new sales.
  • Able to present the full portfolio of services and product.
  • Deliver adequate proposal to customer.
  • Ensure healthy and effective pipeline.
  • Negotiate and close deal.
  • Follow up on expiry contract.
  • Respond to customer needs.
  • Keep abreast with technology.
  • Participate in customer events.
  • Follow up on customer account.

Preferred skills and aptitudes
  • Sales and target oriented.
  • Creative and technology-oriented.
  • Customer focused.
  • Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driving licence for private car is a must.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
