The daily Mobile Internet will be used first, followed by the weekly Mobile Internet and finally the monthly Mobile Internet.

You can use your Mobile Internet in your mobile phone, Dongle, MiFi (mobile wifi router), or in your tablet. You just need to make sure that your Mobile Internet is active in your simcard.
I don’t want to buy a Mobile Internet. Can I still access internet?
Yes, You can always browse at a PAYG tariff of Rs 0.003/KB. However, it will cost you more. We now have mobile internet packs as from Rs 10 (inc VAT). If you buy a mobile internet pack, you can benefit from more of internet usage at better per KB rates.

You will not lose your remaining Mobile internet balance when you buy another mobile internet pack. Each mobile internet package purchased has their own validity period. Your initial mobile internet pack will remain and will expire on its own actual validity period.
What is postpaid Mobile Internet TOPUP service?
Postpaid Mobile Internet TOPUP service enables you to continue browsing the internet on package tariffs when your existing package has been used up. Postpaid Mobile Internet TOPUP is a cost saving solution for you. Instead of being billed excess postpaid Mobile Internet tariff of Rs 0.253/100KB (inc. VAT), you can browse at package tariffs.

  • Continue browsing on excess Mobile Internet tariff at Rs at Rs 0.253/100KB
  • Purchase postpaid TOPUP Mobile Internet and continue to browse on package tariffs.
How much do I pay for the postpaid Mobile Internet TOPUPs?

What is the validity of the postpaid TOPUP Mobile Internet?
The postpaid TOPUP Mobile Internet is valid from the date you purchased the TOPUP package till the end of the same billing cycle. Example: You purchased a postpaid Mobile Internet TOPUP of 1GB at Rs 249 (inc. VAT) on the 20th of the month (e.g. 20th Mar 2015). Your TOPUP package will be valid from the 20th Mar 2015 to 31st Mar 2015 ONLY.
Will my remaining volume of my postpaid TOPUP Mobile Internet be accumulated in my next month billing cycle?
No, your remaining volume of your TOPUP package will NOT be accumulated in your package for the next billing cycle.
What will be the validity of the mobile internet packages if I purchase them through Data Epin?
Validity of Mobile internet packages will remain the same. i.e. 1 Day for Daily package, 7 days for Weekly package and 30 days for monthly packages.
Will I be able to do airtime recharge with the same denominations available for internet EPIN, i.e. Rs 10, Rs 49, Rs 99, Rs 249, Rs 449, Rs 649, Rs 949, Rs 1449 and Rs 2949?
No, all the above mentioned denominations are reserved for INTERNET EPIN ONLY. With theses denominations, you will not be able to do airtime recharge for call, SMS and any other Emtel services.
Is it possible to have a recharge of more than Rs.1000?
Yes. In that case the EPin retailer will recharge your account first with Rs.1000 (including VAT) and any additional top ups until the amount requested is met.

What happens after sending the SMS to request for APN settings?

Emtel customer will receive 4 messages. The first message as shown in Figure 1 explains that Emtel customer will be receiving the APN settings for WEB. If the mobile phone request for PIN, Emtel customer is required to enter “1234” or “0000”.

What does Emtel customer needs to do when the configuration SMS for WEB in mobile phone is received?

Emtel customer needs to open the configuration SMS as shown in figure 4and click on “optionto save the APN settings for WEB on their mobile phone.

What happens if Emtel customer enters an incorrect PIN?

When Emtel customer enters an incorrect PIN, the automatic APN setting request will prompt again.

After 3 consecutive attempts, the APN setting request will be discarded. This varies from models to models.
