What is a Caller Tune?
Now you can make your friends listen to their favourite song every time they call you instead of hearing the boring "bip bip" sound. Emtel brings you Caller Tunes.
Play popular songs for as many friends as you like. Choose your song from Bollywood to International hits, whacky sounds to pure instrumental, and more.
You can either set one common tune for all or customise a tune for individual callers.
How to activate Caller Tunes?
 | - Send sub by SMS to 8138
- To activate a song, send set<Tune No.> by SMS to 8138
- If you want to set a specific song for one of your friends, send perso<Tune No.><space><phone number> by SMS to 8138. Ex: If your friend's phone number is 1234567, send persoxxxxxx 1234567 to 8138

Special features
 | - If you would like to copy your friend's Caller Tune, press * when you call your friend and while listening to the Caller Tune
- You can even offer a Caller Tune to a friend
- You can have up to 99 Caller Tunes at the same time on your mobile
- One for each or one for all: Choose a default Caller Tune for all callers or different selections for each of your friends or group of friends!
- Random Caller Tunes: Play all your Caller Tunes or only certain selection at random
- Different times, different Caller Tunes: Play your favorite song at different times of the day.

Charges
- Sending an SMS to 8138 costs the same as a normal SMS
- Calls to 8138 cost the same as a call to another Emtel number
- A monthly fee of Rs. 10 will be deducted from your prepaid or postpaid account on the 1st of each month
- Caller Tunes now as from Rs. 1 ONLY in our special selection.
- Rs. 9 tariff still applies to other Caller Tunes
