Emtel M-Payment: Pay your Emtel Bills securely by sending an SMS!


A secure and easy way to pay your Emtel bills!

m-Payment links your credit card account to your mobile phone after you have registered to the service.

All payments done through m-Payment will be deducted from your credit card account.

  • Pay the full amount or part of postpaid bills for up to 4 additional Emtel numbers        
  • No additional charges applied
  • MasterCard and Visa from any banks accepted

 

How it works?

To check your outstanding balance:
  • Send status by SMS to 8200

To pay your bill:
  • Send paybill followed by your cvv number* to 8200.
  • For instance, if your cvv number is 123, send paybill 123 to 8200.
  • CVV number refers to your validation number on verso of your credit card.

Visit any Emtel showroom with your ID card and Credit Card to fill the m-Payment registration form.

1. What is Emtel m-Payment?
Emtel m-Payment is a safe new way to pay your postpaid phone bills using your mobile phone. Now you can securely pay for your postpaid mobile bills without sharing your personal financial information with anyone.

2. How does Emtel m-Payment work?
Emtel m-Payment links your mobile phone to your Visa/ Mastercard credit card allowing you to make payments through your mobile phone.

3. Why should I get Emtel m-Payment?
Emtel m-Payment is the safest way to pay from your mobile phone and is convenient too.

4. Is Emtel m-Payment safe?
Every transaction using Emtel m-Payment must be authorized from your mobile phone using the 3 digit CVV number on your phone and hence is known to nobody else.

5. Can my credit card information be accessed without my authorization?
Emtel m-Payment will NEVER disclose your credit card information to anybody.

6. Is there any charge/fee for using Emtel m-Payment?
Emtel m-Payment does not charge for any transactions currently.

7.  What is a CVV number?
The Card Verification Value (CVV) number is a three-digit number which appears on the back of all Visa and Mastercard cards.

8. Are credit cards from any bank accepted?
Yes. Any MasterCard or Visa will be accepted.

9. Can I pay bills for other Emtel users?
Yes. You can pay for up to 4 additional accounts.
